RED is currently seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with one of our global consulting clients. This is for an ongoing project and work will be fully remote. This person will be responsible for ensuring mobile applications are thoroughly tested, automated, and maintainable across all development stages. You will collaborate closely with technical architects and engineering leads across regions, advancing our test automation framework and reducing reliance on manual testing. Candidates will be expected to work US time zone hours.
Suitable Candidates will have the below skills:
* 7+ years in QA automation, with a minimum of 3 years in a lead role focused on mobile test automation
* Proficiency in mobile automation testing tools like Appium, Selenium, and other frameworks
* Strong understanding of mobile testing (iOS, Android) including network, UI, and accessibility testing
* Proven experience in building and scaling test automation frameworks, ideally using C# and integrating with tools like Selenium, Appium, and CI/CD pipelines
* Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm) for scalability and mobile device coverage
* Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, optimizing for continuous deployment and rapid feedback loops
