*** Hadoop Site Reliability Engineer - 6 months + ext. - Hybrid (Krakow) ***
On behalf of one of our key partners RED now has a new opportunity for a Hadoop Site Reliability Engineer to join an important migration project. The initial contract is for 6 months with excellent extension opportunities.
This role is to start ASAP and will be 2 days per week on site in Krakow.
Specific skills/experience required:
- At least 3 years experience working as a Hadoop Site Reliability Engineer.
- High level Knowledge of Hadoop platforms and core Hadoop components (migrations).
- Troubleshooting both Hadoop platform service, application problems and identifying the root cause.
- Writing ansible playbooks and automate manual tasks using Ansible, shell scripting and python scripting.
- Should be familiar with Unix/Linux system internals, networking, and distributed systems.
Candidates must be based in Poland to be considered.
