ETL Developer / London Hybrid 3 days per week onsite / 6 months + / Start ASAP

Max Rate: £425 per day

Key Skills:

· 8 + years' experience in Financial Services, with a strong background in private banking.
· ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle databases into the Data Warehouse or other target data repositories.
· Demonstrate strong Experience with Oracle databases, Solution and Design, Data Modelling, Data Analysis, Performance and Tuning
· Integration with Oracle: Work closely with Oracle databases, understand data structures, and optimise data extraction and loading processes to maximise performance and efficiency.
· Packaging: Prepare deployment packages (GitLab, Ansible) to move code to upper environments. You have hands on experience with automated deployments and pipelines to help us deliver new software efficiently.
· Experience in Data migration projects.

We are looking for a PowerCenter/Informatica ETL Developer with skills to build reports sourced from Data Warehouse (DWH) to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions for the organisation.

The DWH is designed for obtaining information from our core systems that enable it to be used by other downstream financial systems, reporting systems or external client portals.

Responsibilities:

· Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining ETL workflows, data pipelines, and data orchestration processes that involve data from databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and files, using Informatica PowerCenter
· Create new reports (reporting tools, files, SQL queries) sourced from DWH and other databases. Work experience in SAP Business Objects or Assentis will be considered as an advantage.
· Analyse business requirements, document, develop and test software to meet those requirements or fix defects in existing software.
· Perform unit and integration tests of software components, in accordance with published standards.
· Manage, perform and support software releases plus ownership of application documentation.
· Contribute to defining team standards including code standards, toolsets and quality.
· Communicate effectively with other members of the IT community and participate in department initiatives.
