One of our Customers at RED is in search of an experienced GDC Security Operations course for a project in Munich.
Role: Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Security Operations (SecOps)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 12 Months (possibility of extension, after initial contract)
- Contract: Freelance (no permanent/ no Visa/ No sponsorship can be offered)
- Workload: Full Time (5 Days Per Week)
- Location: Munich, Germany
- Language: English (Written and Spoken)
- German (Advantage)
Education and Knowledge Requirements
SecOps includes the following features:
- Logging: Correlates GDC platform logging for security analysis and response
- Vulnerability identification: Promptly identifies, reports, and tracks security vulnerabilities
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR): Defends all OIC and GDC assets
- Continuous monitoring: Provides tooling, processes, and runbooks to enable continuous monitoring for cybersecurity incidents
GDC also has a number of other security features, including:
- Zero Trust: A multi-layered defense-in-depth architecture that includes multi-factor authentication, least privilege access, and continuous authentication
- Device security: Includes hardware qualifications, rogue asset detection, and endpoint protection
- Data encryption: Uses encryption in transit to make data unreadable while in transit
- Network security: Uses a boundary proxy and bastion host to audit and control traffic
