Job Title: Data Migration Lead

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid - 3 days per week on site)
Contract Type: Full-Time

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Migration Lead to join a major transformation program, leading data migration initiatives across ERP, APS, MES, MDM, and Performance Management projects. This role is critical to ensuring seamless data transition, supporting global operational improvements across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, distribution, and sales functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of data migration activities in alignment with project time lines, quality standards, budgets, and resource plans.

• Define, document, and execute the overall data migration strategy, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the process.

• Manage the planning and coordination of data extraction, transformation, and load activities.

• Work closely with technical and business teams to identify data migration needs and integration efforts.

• Oversee all phases of data migration, including specification drafting, development supervision, testing, validation, and issue resolution.

• Support system deployment from a technical standpoint, ensuring readiness and stability.

• Act as the central point of contact for data migration, coordinating internal teams and third-party service providers.

• Contribute to governance meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.

• Ensure all activities comply with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5-10 years of proven experience leading complex data migration and ERP deployment projects, ideally in an S/4HANA and BODS environment.

• Strong understanding of data management practices across diverse IT ecosystems.

• Experience with infrastructure, network, and cloud-based technical architectures.

• Fluent English is essential.
